Empowering the Next Leader

Bernard Franklin brings incredible knowledge and insightful personal experience as a role model to each audience he touches. His presentations are powerful experiences that inspire participants.

For over 30 years Bernard has worked with foundations, colleges and universities and businesses across the nation; to help people imagine or see their worth, potential and future then inspire them to pick themselves up from where they are and get moving to accomplish their goals.

At a young age Bernard demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and strong ambition. He was elected as the first African American President of the Student Government Association on a predominately white campus in the U.S. At the age of 24 Bernard went on to make Kansas history by becoming the youngest person ever appointed to the Kansas State Board of Regents, and the youngest Chair of the Board at age 28.

In His Own Words

“I guess you can say that I am an “Imaginer.” I believe if you can get people to imagine their future, you can help them climb the ladder to that picture of success. We move towards what we see and what we believe for ourselves. Some of my gifts are to help people imagine or see their worth, potential, and future then inspire them to pick themselves up from where they are and get them moving.”

Bernard has the unique ability to directly challenge, speak about the unvarnished and raw truth while still creating an environment of caring and compassion. When Bernard speaks, people are compelled to listen.
